Dear Student,
Hereby I inform you that the Management of the Faculty of Science and Informatics has decided that the Graduation Ceremony will be organized for the graduating students of the final exam period of July 2025. The date of the Ceremony: 5 July (Saturday) 2025 at 5.00 pm Venue: Congress Hall at József Attila Department of Education and Information Centre (commonly known as TIK, Szeged, Ady tér 10.) Please be present at the TIK at 4.00 pm
The following administration must be done before the beginning of the ceremony:
- obtaining the academic dress
- signing the necessary documents
- information about the Ceremony, regulations
Only those graduating students can take part in the Ceremony who have met all the requirements of issuing the diploma and registered for the event before and only those guests who have bought the tickets for the event.
If you do the registration, but you do not fulfill all requirements of issuing the diploma, your registration will be invalid since the Graduation Ceremony is organized for students having obtained the diploma.
The information on the registration for the Event and on purchasing the tickets has already been sent to you in an e-mail on 20th June 2025.
Upon the decision of the Council of the Faculty the academic dress during the Graduation Ceremony is only provided for master students and students taking part in the undivided teaching training programme. For them the academic dress is compulsory.
During the Graduation Ceremony guests and relatives can take part in limited number.
Due to the maximum seats of the Congress Room guests can only attend the Ceremony with entry (guest) tickets. Each student can buy maximum 2 tickets.
The participation fee for the Graduation Ceremony is 5000 HUF altogether for all students.
I inform you that the Ceremony will be broadcast live and online for those who cannot participate in it. The exact availability is the YouTube channel of the Faculty which is the following: https://youtube.com/@szte-ttik
A professional photographer will be working at the venue, about further details students will be informed with a flyer before the Ceremony.
Regarding the event please wear gala suit/dress under the academic dress as well, even if you are wearing the academic dress.
The required style is suit, tie, closed shoes for men; for women reserved-coloured elegant dress or costume is offered. Please avoid sportswear, evening/cocktail/too colourful dress or any dresses with deep décolleté.
