Only those graduating students can obtain their degrees who have met all the requirements of issuing the diploma.

Due to the necessary diploma administration and the preparation for the event the graduating students have to be present at the TIK Congress room at 1.00 PM before the ceremony.

We kindly ask the foreign students to be present at 1.00 PM inside the TIK near the main entrance, under the stairs.

The following administration must be done before the beginning of the ceremony:

• -obtaining the academic dress
• -signing the necessary documents
• information about the Ceremony, regulations

Only those graduating students can take part in the Ceremony who have met all the requirements of issuing the diploma and only those guests who have bought the tickets for the event.

The technical details of the registration and buying of the tickets will be sent to you in an e-mail during the week starting from 17 June.

Upon the initiation of the Student Union of the Faculty of Science and Informatics, University of Szeged and the decision of the Council of the Faculty the academic dress during the Graduation Ceremony is only provided for master students and students taking part in the undivided teaching training programme. For them the academic dress is compulsory.

Due to the maximum seats of the Congress Room guests can only attend the Ceremony with entry tickets. Each student can buy maximum 2 tickets.

The participation fee of the Graduation Ceremony is 5000 HUF for all students.

The Ceremony will be broadcast live and online for those who cannot participate in it. The exact availability is the SZTE TTIK YouTube channel which is the following:

A professional photographer will be working at the venue, about further details students will be informed with a flyer before the Ceremony.

Regarding the event please wear gala suit/dress under the academic dress as well, even if you are wearing the academic dress.

The required style is suit, tie, closed shoes for men; for women reserved-coloured elegant dress or costume is offered. Please avoid sportswear, evening/cocktail/too colourful dress or any dresses with deep décolleté.

General rules of the Graduation Ceremony:

I kindly ask you to meet your registration requirement by all means, even if you do not intend to take part in the Ceremony.

Only those graduating students can take part in the Graduation Ceremony who have met all the requirements of issuing the diploma, registered for the Event previously and have the ticket and only those guests who have bought the tickets for the Event.

Those students who have done the registration and would like to take part in the Event, can buy maximum 2 guest tickets.

Registration (declaration for the participation):

Every graduating student has to declare in advance whether (s)he would like to participate in the Graduation Ceremony or not.

You have the possibility to do this via the link https://www2.sci.u-szeged.hu/Regisztracio/ during 4:00 pm on 21 June 2024 and 8.00 am on 24 June 2024.

We draw your attention that this is only the registration for the participation. In order to purchase the student’s and guest’s tickets, you will have a separate surface.

I kindly ask you to do the registration during the period mentioned above by all means and declare whether you would like to participate in the Event or not.

The following data is necessary for the registration:

• Name / Neptun code
• E-mail address, mobile phone number
• Name of your study programme
• Where would you like to obtain the degree? (I obtain it during the Graduation Ceremony. / I obtain it at the Dean’s Office.)

Request for purchasing the ticket:

Attention! All graduating students need to have tickets issued with his/her name, without this they are not allowed to enter the Ceremony.

The tickets (student’s and guest’s tickets as well) can be bought via the link https://modulo.szte.hu/szteportal/ between 10.00 am on 25th June 2024 and 10.00 on 27th June 2024. The graduating student can log in with his/her Neptun code and password via this link.

Before any further steps please set the language (for English) in the system on the upper right hand corner.

The form concerning the purchase of the tickets is available at the Administration part: it is Ceremony guest ticket purchase.

The fee of the Graduation Ceremony is 5000 HUF for everyone. This fee can be paid by choosing the student’s ticket and by paying it by bank card on the surface. We kindly ask you to register your own name in the name box when requiring a ticket.

Every student has the possibility to take maximum 2 guests. You need to require separate guest tickets as well, however, it is without any further fees. The guest tickets can be required with the same form, but a separate document has to be filled in. If the graduating student invites minimum one guest, the form has to be filled in twice: for the first time in order to buy the student’s ticket, for the second time in order to buy the guest’s ticket(s).

When buying the guest’s ticket, it is not compulsory to register the guest’s own name. The guest’s tickets are marked by the system with QR code which will be scanned when entering the Ceremony and it is only for one entry.

After the successful purchase, the tickets bought are available at the Documents part. If you click on the printer icon, you can open the pdf file to have the tickets.

The tickets purchased can be presented as a printed paper version or on a mobile at the venue. For a smooth entry please prepare the tickets in time.

Purchase of extra guests tickets:

Purchasing extra tickets depending on the demands will be available on 28th June 2024 in the Modulo system. These details will be sent to you in e-mail after the first round of ticket purchase will be closed.

Due to the maximum seats of the Congress Room the tickets will be available at a very limited number which means that within a short time after the surface is opened, the extra tickets might be sold out.

We kindly ask you to check your e-mails regularly if you would like to buy extra tickets!
