2025/2026. Semester 1 (Fall)

Ranked course registration in Neptun	from 25 August to 30 August 2025
Competitive course registration in Neptun for PhD students	from 6.00 am on 2 September to 5 October 2025
Competitive course registration for BSc and MSc students	from 6.00 am on 2 September to 21 September 2025
Enrolment	29 August – 4 September 2025.
Deadline for submitting requests for a passive semester	21 September 2025 (in Modulo)
Deadline for submitting requests for a passive semester after the deadline	22 September to 10 October 2025
Study period:	8 September – 13 December 2025.
Autumn break:	There is no autumn break in the academic year 2025-26.
Deadline for submitting request for a credit transfer in MODULO	24 November to 7 December 2025
Dean’s break:
Examination Period:	15 December – 23 December 2025. and 5 January – 31 January 2026.
Application for the exams in Neptun:	from 6.00 am on 2 December 2025 to 6 February 2026
Supplementary Exam Period:	2 February – 7 February 2026.
Winter Closure:	24 December 2025 – 3 January 2026.
Deadline for the final exam application	until 31 October 2025
Exam period for students graduating in January	15 December 2025 – 7 January 2026.
Final exam period for foreign students in January	12 January – 12 February 2026.
Application for the final exam:	until 31 October 2025
Submission of the thesis work:	13 December 2025.
Submission of the opponent’s reviews:	7 January 2026. (can be modified by the Institute concerned)
Thesis defence period:	15 December 2025 – 7 January 2026.
