Starting in September 2026, the University of Szeged will launch a new Master’s program in Artificial Intelligence, further reinforcing its position at the forefront of AI research and education. Artificial intelligence research in Szeged dates back to the 1950s, and over the decades this strong tradition has helped establish SZTE as a center of internationally recognized excellence in the field. Today, the University operates a comprehensive ecosystem of research, education, and innovation in artificial intelligence – supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure, globally competitive research activity, and forward-looking academic programs designed to address the technological and societal challenges of the future.
