Summary: Investigating the geometric and analytic aspects of high dimensional spaces have experienced a surge of interest in the last decades, in which both theoretical and applied methods play important roles. The ever increasing demand for information of modern society creates new challenges and problems, whose solution often depends on geometric methods. Such topics include data storage, telecommunications, coding theory, tomography, and information theory, among others.

The planned international conference will provide an excellent opportunity for the collaboration of leading researchers of the topic as well as presenting novel results. The event will greatly enhance the esteem of the Hungarian, and in particular, the Szeged geometry school, and help the young generation to establish international links. The conference will continue the tradition of successful geometry meetings in Szeged.
