Only those graduating students can obtain their degrees who have met all the requirements of issuing the diploma.

Due to the necessary diploma administration and the preparation for the event the graduating students have to be present at the TIK Congress room in time before the ceremony.

We kindly ask the foreign students to be present at 8.45 Am inside the TIK near the main entrance, under the stairs.

The following administration must be done before the beginning of the ceremony:

• -obtaining the academic dress
• -signing the necessary documents
• information about the Ceremony, regulations

General regulation:

1. Only those graduating students can take part in the Ceremony who have met all the requirements of issuing the diploma and registered for the event before and only those guests who have bought the tickets for the event.

If you do the registration, but you do not fulfill all requirements of issuing the diploma, your registration will be invalid since the Graduation Ceremony is organized for students having obtained the diploma.

2. Only master students and students taking part in the undivided teaching training programme can obtain their degrees in academic dress.
3. During the Graduation Ceremony guests and relatives can take part in limited number.
4. The Ceremony will be broadcast live and online for those who cannot participate in it. The exact availability is the SZTE TTIK YouTube channel which is the following: https://youtube.com/@szte-ttik

5. A professional photographer will be working at the venue, about further details students will be informed with a flyer before the Ceremony.

Regarding the event please wear gala suit/dress under the academic dress as well, even if you are wearing the academic dress.

The required style is suit, tie, closed shoes for men; for women reserved-coloured elegant dress or costume is offered. Please avoid sportswear, evening/cocktail/too colourful dress or any dresses with deep décolleté.

The rules of registration and buying of the tickets

General rules:

Only those graduating students can take part in the Ceremony who have met all the requirements of issuing the diploma and registered for the event before and only those guests who have bought the tickets for the event.

Every registered student can buy maximum 2 tickets.

Upon the initiation of the Student Union of the Faculty of Science and Informatics, University of Szeged and the decision of the Council of the Faculty the academic dress during the Graduation Ceremony is only provided for master students and students taking part in the undivided teaching training programme. For them the academic dress is compulsory. It can be borrowed for 3.000 HUF / item.

Registration:

If you would like to take part in the Graduation Ceremony please do the registration on the link below between 20^th June and 12.00 on 22^nd June:

We kindly ask you to do the registration during the period above and declare whether you would like to take part in the event.

Please register even if you do not intend to participate in the Graduation Ceremony.

Data necessary for the registration:

• Name / Neptun code
• E-mail address, mobile phone number
• Name of your study programme
• Ways of obtaining the degree: during the Graduation Ceremony or at the Dean’s Office
• Request for the tickets: if you obtain your degree during the Graduation Ceremony, you have to indicate the number of guest tickets. Each student can buy maximum 2 guest tickets.

In case of MSc students and students taking part in the undivided teaching training programme, please also indicate your height and your regular size (S,M,L,XL). This information is needed in order to prepare the academic dresses for the event.

Buying of tickets:

Due to the maximum seats of the Congress Room only guests with tickets can take part in the Ceremony.

Each student can buy 2 guest tickets, one ticket costs 1000 HUF and is available at the Dean’s Office. (Address: Szeged, Aradi vértanúk tere 1., M11 Office (Anita Horpácsi’s office) between 26^th and 29^th June 10.00-12.00 or 13.00-15.00.

The price of the ticket can only be paid in cash and an invoice will be issued.

Request for extra tickets:

Extra tickets can also be bought, you will be later informed about the details when the registration is closed.

Request for extra tickets will be only available for those students who registered until 12.00 on 22^nd June 2023.

Details will be sent to you in e-mail.

Due to the maximum seats of the Congress Room the tickets will be available in limited number, it means that after the surface is opened, they might be sold out in a short time. Thus not all registered students can have this opportunity.

I kindly ask those students who would like to buy extra tickets, to book them in advance on the link above and come to buy all the tickets on one occasion.
